Pakistan Airforce new F-35 Fleet in 2020

10 10 2007

I just read on Wikipedia that Pakistan Airforce is looking to replace it’s fleet of F-16s by new F-35 in 2020. That’s awesome !
But in my view, they shouldn’t replace F-16s, they should replace their F-7 or JF-17.
I think the reason that they are replacing F-16s is because F-7 and JF-17 is repaired/manufactured in Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, while F-16 is not.
Maybe it is repaired, but it’s not manufactured there.

If you don’t know what is F-35, here’s little overview

The F-35 Lightning II is a single-seat, single-engine, stealth-capable military strike fighter, a multi-role aircraft that can perform close air support, tactical bombing, and air-to-air combat. The F-35 is descended from the X-35 of the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program. Its development is being principally funded by the United States with the United Kingdom and other partner governments providing additional funding. It is being designed and built by an aerospace industry team led by Lockheed Martin with Northrop Grumman and BAE Systems as major partners. Demonstrator aircraft flew in 2000;15 December a production model first took flight on 2006. The United States Air Force plans to acquire 1,763 aircraft.

Advertlets, in my view

25 09 2007

As I created this blog, I started signing ad programs.

Advertlets is an Asian ad program that pays you in Malaysian Ringgits.

When I completed my registration of Advertlets account, I was navigated directly to my earnings, and showed me status about my earnings.

Advertlets hasn’t got many ads, but its ads are nice, and interactive, like the add-on poll feature, that also helps me to know what my readers are and what they are exactly looking for?

Though I don’t have much traffic to site, I was just posting and viewing my blog, and then I checked my status at Advertlets, I got 0.02RM (Malaysian Ringgits) in my account.

That’s really cool. The more traffic you get, the more you earn, doesn’t matter if people don’t click on the ad, although, clicking on the ads pays you little more.

I was wondering, if I start an online company, I would give my ads to Advertlets 😉

Things that I liked

  • Starting right away (Unlike Google Adsense and many others, they review the application before you can earn)
  • User friendly interface (Main site, and the member site, both can be accessed by one page, with that docking menus feature)
  • Earning with PAY ON IMPRESSIONS (That means you get paid for every hit)
  • Daily earnings details
  • Multiple blog support with single account
  • Of course, the logo 🙂

Things that I didn’t like

  • In daily earnings panel I can’t see the particular blog from where I get the earnings. It should show me earning details of every blog that I add to list.
  • If they could pay me more 🙂 lol – Blog Advertising in Asia

"ooVoo" for a day !

24 09 2007

Today, my friend sent me this new Instant Messenger, named “ooVoo”.
It’s same as MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk, or Skype.

It’s main part of interest is on Video Conversation, just like Skype is famous for Audio Conversation.
I don’t have webcam 🙂 So I didn’t check this.

What I liked ?

  • User Interface
  • Sounds
  • Quick User Registration
  • MSN alike, so you don’t have to understand it or need help
  • Quick Connectivity

What I didn’t like ?

  • Chatting interface, it needs more attention
  • I am alone 🙂 I don’t have much friends at ooVoo

Well the sound effects are pretty cool !

Here’s a screenshot of my ooVoo

Improved BearShare !

24 09 2007

For those who don’t know what BearShare is,

BearShare is a peer-to-peer file sharing application originally created by Free Peers, Inc. for Microsoft Windows and currently sold by MusicLab, LLC.

Source : Wikipedia

I had used BearShare, and at the first part, I didn’t liked it.
I noticed, my PC was slowed down, and then I checked and scanned my PC with Anti-Spyware, and I found Malwares in my PC, then I searched on internet.
And It was confirmed that BearShare comes with Malware.

Then I uninstalled it. One day my friend informed me about new version of BearShare, he said this new version is good, and it has Online Community and Instant Messaging.
I was not convinced at at all, then I myself installed this new version of BearShare.

Yeah, it was pretty cool. And now I use it, but there’s only drawback, the earlier version of BearShare could download/share any files (zip, jpg, doc etc), rather than just sharing and downloading music. Actually that’s not a drawback, it’s a good step to make BearShare legal.

My Reviews about

24 09 2007

Hi guys, I joined myLot, and I wanted to see how much I am gonna earn.
If you people don’t know anything about myLot, let me tell you.
It’s a online community site, like Orkut, Facebook, Friendster, and even like Yahoo! Answers. But the only difference is, you get paid, by every post, or any activity you do at the site, cool isn’t it ?

I joined it, and I earned 0.02$ in one day, all I did was posted 3 or 4 responds to discussion and uploaded a picture. That’s it.

Personally, I didn’t liked the site. Orkut and other Online Communities are much better than this myLot. First you need to have interests, and then discussions, I mean what’s the point of interests ? I think community for every interest is much better to do, like in Orkut. And about the interests, you could just add a field in a profile that shows the person’s interests.

And I have been browsing, and looking for, how to change my avator, and I couldn’t find it. lol

But the best part is, YOU GET PAID. That’s the main reason why people have joined myLot. I see no other reason.

If you want to join, please join using this link, as this is my referral link 🙂
